Using DetailEdit Form Section instead of custom fields gives you some very significant advantages. While custom fields always offer only free text or date as field format, in forms you can use multiple field types, for example drop-down or currency fields. This makes it possible to generate much better filters and massively increase data quality, as spelling errors are avoided.
Another big advantage is that forms are not limited to 12 free text fields and 4 date fields. This allows you to store much more information generically with your Daylite objects.
