If you want to use email templates in conjunction with Missive, you need the plugin ProductivityTools.
|
Please note: API keys are only available in Missive in a paid plan. The API key and the paid plan are only required if you want to use email templates in conjunction with Missive. The are not required if you only want to save emails in Daylite via the iOMailAssistant (iOM). Missive offers a 30 day money back guarantee with its paid plans. |
To set up Missive as your default email app, please proceed as follows:
- Navigate to API in the Missive Settings
- Click on Create new token
- Enter your desired description, e.g. Daylite
- Copy the displayed token to the clipboard
| Attention: The token will be displayed only once. If you need it again, click Revoke next to the active token and create a new token. |
- Open Daylite
- Make sure that the plugins ProductivityTools, Plus Package and DayliteDocs are installed
- Open the ProductivityTools Preferences and navigate to Email under Integrations
- Select Missive from the drop-down menu
- Click the Sign In button, paste the saved token and click Connect
- If you do not want to send emails from your Missive login address by default, please change the default values
You can now transfer email templates or email chains directly from Daylite to Missive. You can create these in our email templates within the ProductivityTools plugin.
