What are PersonBoards and CompanyBoards?
PersonBoards and CompanyBoards are an extension of the well-known Boards. With Boards, you can easily organize and better visualize your tasks within projects and opportunities in Daylite in the form of Kanban boards using drag & drop.
With PersonBoards and CompanyBoards, you can understand contacts as tickets who have a specific role in a project or opportunity. This can help recruit or real estate processes, for example, by having different contacts with different roles go through a process. The contacts can be dragged and dropped as desired.
How do I add a note to a contact in the ContactBoard?
You have the option of adding an individual title to a person within a project. This is useful if a different title than usual is used for a person within a project, or if you want to store a separate note for the person in the respective project.
To do so, open the desired project and click Edit:
- A button with three dots appears next to the person as soon as you move the mouse pointer over the person
- Click this button and add your note or the individual title in the field that appears. Click Done to confirm your entry
- Now go to the Tasks / Boards tab within the project and select the ContactBoards tab
- Select the Expanded View
- You can now see the note you have entered earlier for this person under Title
Why do I receive an error message in contact boards?
If you link persons with a project that contains a Contact Board multiple times, you will receive the error message that the board cannot be displayed.
In this case, please check the persons linked with the project and make sure every person is linked only once.
