New newsletter recipients who subscribed to your newsletter via your website, and therefore show only in Mailchimp, can now be transferred automatically to Daylite using the Daylite app Marketing&Chat.
EmailMarketing has been renamed to Marketing&Chat. In the following video the old name is still used.
As part of the synchronization process of a Daylite group with a linked Mailchimp list, new subscribers will be transferred to Daylite.
By default first name, last name and email address are used to create a Daylite contact from a Mailchimp subscriber. The Marketing&Chat app also uses first name, last name and email address as criteria to determine whether a contact already exists in Daylite to avoid duplicates.
The newly created contacts are tagged in Daylite with the category MailchimpConnector as well as the keyword MailchimpConnector.
Additional Mailchimp fields can be transferred to Daylite when the Marketing&Chat plugin is set up accordingly.
