With the function Comments of the plugin Marketing&Chat you can communicate with other users directly on a Daylite object. When you write a comment, the users already involved in the communication are automatically selected. In order to use the comment function, the sender and recipient must be users of the same Daylite database. Both the sender and the recipient need a valid Marketing&Chat licence. You have the following options to create a comment:
- Using the Comments widget of the Copilot, messages can be created directly for the selected object and sent to selected users.
- The Comments icon in the Integrations section directly opens the comments section of the selected object in My Comments.
- In My Comments you can search for an existing conversation and select it or start a new conversation. To do this, first search for the Daylite object and then start the communication.
- Right-click on the Daylite object from which you want to send a comment. Select Send Comment. The Comments window of the object will open in the My Comments section.
To send a comment, proceed as follows:
- Open the Comments window using one of the methods described above
- Select all users or teams you want to notify using the plus icon
Important: By default, the owner of the object, all invited users of an appointment or all users already involved in the communication are preselected - Compose your message. There is a limit of 500 characters
- You can also reply to an existing message
Note: The delivery of the comment can take up to 5 minutes
This comment function is not a real-time chat within which you can reply immediately. It can take up to 5 minutes between sending and notifying the recipient.
