In this article, you will learn how to do the basic setup of Missive in order to use the app together with your team. To do this, please follow the steps below:
- Follow this link and click on Try it for free at the bottom of the page and on the following page click on Create an account
- Enter your e-mail address and the desired password and click Sign up
- Click the plus sign to connect your personal email account to Missive. Missive supports Google, Office 365, Outlook.com, and iCloud email accounts, as well as IMAP accounts
- After you have entered the access data for your account, you can specify whether e-mails already in your mailbox should be imported
- In the next step, you specify whether this email account is your personal one or an account you want to share with the team. In this tutorial, we assume that you want to set up your personal account here first. After you entered your email account credentials, the setup of your personal email account is complete
- To invite additional members of your team, click Setup my team
- After you have defined the name of your organization, you can invite your team members. The members will receive an invitation email through which they can set up their personal Missive accounts
- In addition to the browser version, Missive is also available as an app for macOS, iOS, Windows, and Android. Install the app and then log in with your Missive credentials that you assigned in step no. 2
