My Dashboard bundles the most important key figures and work lists from Daylite into small, focused widgets — from created companies and persons through incoming and outgoing calls to opportunity analysis, appointments and tasks. Using so-called presets, you can set up several dashboard views as tabs and switch between them at any time.
My Dashboard is available exclusively in Plus Package for Daylite and is provided via the iOSXpert PluginCenter.

My Dashboard at a glance
What is My Dashboard?
My Dashboard is a dedicated workspace that shows you the most important information from your Daylite database at a glance. Instead of collecting the figures from various lists and reports, you assemble your evaluations once as widgets and have them available from then on.
Each widget focuses on a single question — for example „How many companies have I created this month?“ or „Which opportunities are open and how do the next activities look?“. The widgets are interactive: you choose the time period and the users yourself and jump from any widget directly into the corresponding Daylite records.
In addition to the dashboard, the Copilot offers you context-related widgets directly on the currently selected Daylite object. You will find an overview of these in the article What widgets are available for the Copilot?
Requirements
To be able to use My Dashboard, you need:
- an installed iOSXpert PluginCenter
- an active subscription of Plus Package for Daylite
Note: My Dashboard is an exclusive Plus Package feature. It is not available with individually booked Plugin Seats. To find out which services are included in Plus Package, please read the article Which plugins are included in Plus Package for Daylite?
First start and introduction assistant
The introduction assistant on first start
When you open My Dashboard for the first time, an introduction assistant starts automatically. It presents the available widgets to you step by step so that you can assess which evaluations make sense for the way you work.
- Use Next and Back to move through the pages; the dots at the bottom show your progress
- Skip ends the assistant at any time
- Each widget page shows a description and a functioning preview of the widget
Note: The values that the assistant shows in the previews are sample data. Your own records will be evaluated in your dashboard afterwards.
Have your widget selection suggested by AI
At the end of the assistant, the page You are ready to go appears. Here you decide how you would like to start:
- Configure yourself — you assemble your widgets manually
- Create presets with AI — you have a suitable selection of widgets suggested automatically
The suggested presets are a starting point, not a fixed result: you can rename, rearrange, extend or delete every preset afterwards.
Presets: several dashboard views
What is a preset?
A preset is a saved selection of widgets. At the top of the dashboard you will find a bar with tabs — each tab is a preset.
This allows you to set up several completely different dashboard views and switch back and forth between them: one view for your agenda, one for sales management, one for team evaluation. Each tab remembers its own state, including the time period and the filters of the individual widgets. There is no need to save manually, and no settings are lost when you switch.
Creating presets with AI
In the last window of the introduction assistant you can start My Dashboard with one preset and define every preset yourself. Alternatively, you can have presets created with AI in order to start working productively more quickly.
These presets are not write-protected. You can rename them, change their widgets or delete them if you do not need them.
Creating a new preset
Click the + in the preset bar. A new, empty preset is created, which you then fill with the desired widgets (see Adding, removing and rearranging widgets).
Renaming, duplicating and deleting presets
You manage the respective preset via the … menu on the active tab:
- Rename — assigns a meaningful name to the tab
- Duplicate — creates a copy of the preset including all widgets it currently contains. The copy is named <Name> Copy
- Delete — removes the preset
Duplicating is particularly useful if you want to use an existing view as the starting point for a variant — for example the same widgets, but for a different team or a different time period.
Note: The last remaining preset cannot be deleted. Your dashboard therefore always keeps at least one view.
Sorting presets and collapsing the preset bar
- The tabs can be arranged in the order you want via drag & drop
- The entire preset bar can be collapsed if you need more space for the widgets
- The question mark in the bar takes you directly to the matching help page
Applying the time period and user selection to all widgets
You set the time period and the user selection individually in each widget. So that you do not have to do this several times, there is the Sync button in the preset bar.
The Sync button opens a dialog window in which you select what is to be applied:
- the time period of the first widget
- the user selection of the first widget
- or both together
The selected settings are then applied to all remaining widgets in the current preset. Two icons in the bar apply the time period and the user selection respectively with a single click.
A maximum of 10 presets
A maximum of 10 presets per user is possible. If you try to create an eleventh preset, you will receive a corresponding error message. In this case, delete a preset you no longer need or combine widgets in a shared view.
Setting up and using widgets
Adding, removing and rearranging widgets
Use the Edit button to switch the active preset into edit mode and to switch it off again. There you can:
- add widgets
- remove widgets
- rearrange widgets
The selection applies only to the preset currently selected. Other presets remain unchanged.
Adjusting column widths and row heights
You can adjust the size of the widget areas to your screen via column widths and row heights. These adjustments are saved and are retained even after restarting Daylite.
Time frame, filters and detail view in the widgets
Most widgets offer the same controls:
- Time frame — choose the granularity (for example Month) and page through the periods using the arrows. The Today button takes you back to the current period
- Filter — use the selection field (default All) to narrow down the evaluation, for example to individual users
- Legend — clicking an entry in the list highlights the corresponding segment in the chart. Use the arrow icon next to the value to open the underlying records in Daylite
- Show all — opens the complete list of all evaluated records
When you scroll within a widget, the header and footer remain visible. This means you keep the filter, time period and totals row in view even in long lists.
The widgets in detail
Created Companies
The Created Companies widget shows you the newly created companies for a selectable time period. The companies are grouped by category — for example Customer, Prospect, Partner and Vendor — and displayed both as a list with the number and percentage share and as a doughnut chart. The footer shows you the total number of companies in the selected time period.
This lets you see at a glance how many new contacts actually make it into the database and how they are distributed across your categories.
Created Persons
The Created Persons widget works in the same way as Created Companies, but evaluates the newly created persons. Here, too, the grouping is by category — for example Contact Person, Prospect and Decision Maker.
Incoming and Outgoing Calls
The Incoming and Outgoing Calls widget presents the number and the category of the calls for a selected time period. You can see:
- the distribution by category — for example Sales, Support and Follow-up — with the number and percentage value
- the total number of calls as well as the split into Outgoing and Incoming
- a stacked bar chart comparing outgoing and incoming calls by category
Note: The calls logged in Daylite are evaluated. To find out how to use telephony directly from Daylite and document calls automatically, please read the article What is Fone&Text?
Analyze Opportunities
The Analyze Opportunities widget shows an overview of your opportunities sorted by their respective status, as well as an overview sorted by user.
For each status — Open, Won, Lost, Abandoned and Postponed — you can see the number of opportunities, the corresponding volume and the percentage share. The Open status can be expanded: below it, the individual opportunities appear with their next activity, for example Send estimate with a date, Overdue or No future activities. Clicking the name opens the opportunity in Daylite.
To the right of it, the Opportunities by user bar chart shows how the opportunities are distributed across your team. In the footer you will find the total number of opportunities and the total volume in the selected time period.
Tip: The note No future activities is your most important indicator: these opportunities have stalled in the sales process. Create a task or an appointment directly from the opportunity so that the process gets moving again.
Upcoming Appointments
The Upcoming Appointments widget shows current and future appointments of the selected users. The appointments are grouped by day — an appointment in progress appears highlighted under In progress, followed by Tomorrow and the other calendar days.
For each appointment you can see the time, duration, title, appointment category and the availability status. A coloured bar on the left indicates the category; for the appointment in progress, a progress bar additionally shows how far the appointment has already advanced.
Two special features make daily planning easier:
- Free time gaps between the appointments are displayed
- Double-click such a gap to create a new appointment directly in this time slot
Use the gear icon to adjust the settings of the widget and the refresh icon to reload the appointments.
Tasks Overview
The Tasks Overview widget shows the open tasks of the selected users. The tasks are grouped by urgency, starting with Overdue and Today, each with the number of tasks affected.
For each task you can see the title, category, priority (for example High, Medium or Low), the owner, the estimated duration as well as the start date and due date. Overdue due dates are highlighted in colour. You can complete tasks directly in the widget using the checkbox.
The following are available to quickly narrow down long task lists:
- a search field
- a filter by priority
- a filter by type
- a filter by status
User Statistics
The User Statistics widget shows the total of the recorded appointments, tasks, projects and opportunities for selected users in a definable time period.
The upper area breaks down the recorded time by appointment category — for example Client Meeting, Project Work, Internal Meeting and Support — each with a percentage value and number of hours. Next to it, the doughnut chart shows the total time in the selected period.
Below that, key figure cards summarise the performance of the period:
- Appointments
- Tasks completed
- Opportunities created
- Opportunities won
- Projects completed
Use the Busy only checkbox to limit the evaluation to appointments that are marked as busy. This keeps purely informational calendar entries out of the time evaluation.
Tip: If you not only want to evaluate your times but also invoice them and monitor them against budgets, Time&Budget is the right addition to the User Statistics.
