Memtime (formerly timeBro) is a time tracking software that memorizes locally on your computer how much time you spend on applications, documents, files, web applications or working on emails. Memtime also recognizes offline times like meetings and conversations and tracks these automatically.
Assign the tracked times to your Daylite projects and send them to Daylite. This way you can always track how much time your project-related work has consumed. If you use the Daylite extension Time&Budget as well, you can bill these project times right away.

How do I set up Memtime for time tracking with Daylite?
Please follow these steps to set up Memtime:
- In the menu bar on top of your screen please navigate to: Daylite -> Preferences -> iOSXpert PluginCenter -> Time&Budget
Learn how to install the PluginCenter: How do I install the iOSXpert PluginCenter? - Select the Integrations section, select Memtime and click on Try Now
- You're now being directed to the website of the makers of Memtime
On the Memtime website proceed as follows:
- Click on the button Start My 14-Day Free Trial
- Now select I want to test Memtime Enterprise in connection with my project software and tick the checkbox for Daylite and select Continue to Download
- Now enter an email address and a password that you'd like to use with Memtime
- Confirm the terms and conditions and click on Create Account

How do I record times with Memtime and send these to Daylite?
Import Daylite projects
Import selected Daylite projects and appointment categories in Memtime to assign the recorded work times to a Daylite project. Follow these steps:
- Open Memtime and select Import Projects
- You'll view a list of projects from Daylite that you are linked to
- Tick the boxes for the projects and appointment categories that you'd like to import from Daylite
- Click on the button Import
The selected projects and appointment categories are now being imported into Memtime.
Send recorded times to Daylite
Memtime starts tracking times automatically after starting up. Follow these steps to send these tracked times to Daylite:
- Click on Time Tracking
- On the left side is Memory Aid. This section shows tracked times for the selected day. You can change the date in the upper right corner
- Use the cursor to navigate to a recorded time and click on the arrow facing right to Create Time Entry
- Select the Daylite project in the search field and select the appointment category
- If necessary, edit the description of the appointment and click on Save
Times assigned to a Daylite project are now shown in the right column Times Entries next to Memory Aid.
When you have assigned all relevant times to Daylite projects, you can click on Export time entries (date) to send these to Daylite. Once in Daylite you can edit these appointments as usual if necessary.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't I see all my Daylite projects in Memtime?
After connecting to Daylite, Memtime offers to import relevant Daylite projects with categories. Only those projects will be offered to import that are listed in the My Projects section in Daylite.
In order for a project to show in Daylite's My Projects section you need to either be the owner of the project or be linked to the project.
Can I track times for my Daylite tasks with Memtime?
Assigning recorded times to Daylite tasks is currently not yet possible. So far it is only possible to assign the recorded times to a project imported from Daylite.
