The Companies settings offer you 3 pop-up fields that are available to you when creating company data records.
The following fields are available:
- Type
- Industy
- Region
You can use all fields as you wish.
Under Industry, you can create real industries or only differentiate between service providers and producers.
The more detailed you proceed here, the more detailed you can filter your data later, for example by creating a smart list that shows all companies from a industry.
Type could, for example, describe the turnover size and the geographical region (Europe, USA, Asia) or a completely different criterion according to which you want to filter companies.
Automatic linking with default companies
Here you can control the linking mechanism in Daylite and, for example, specify that when you link a person to a project, the person's default company is also automatically linked to the project.
