How do I initiate a call out of Daylite using Fone&Text?

Connect your phone with the plugin Fone&Text to make a call out of Daylite to a person or company.

Calling from Daylite via the handset icon

Follow these steps after you've set up Fone&Text for your phone or phone system:

1. Select a person or company with a phone number
2. Click on the handset icon next to the phone number 
3. Click Dial when the Fone&Text window opens to start a phone call

Calling via the contextual menu

Select a company or person that you'd like to call. This is possible from any Daylite view regardless whether you select a linked data record or are looking at the list view of records. Right-click the contact and choose Call...

Always dial with the primary phone 

If you have set up multiple phones in Fone&Text but you only use your primary phone for outgoing calls, you can configure Fone&Text accordingly:

1. Select Plugins from the menu bar and navigate to Fone&Text -> Preferences -> Phones
2. Check the box next to Always dial with primary phone

Choosing which telephone to use when making a call

If you want to be able to choose which telephone to use fro an outgoing call, make sure the box next to the option Always dial with primary phone is unchecked. When making a call, you'll then have the option to choose the desired telephone from the drop-down menu.
