Whether a file stored in Daylite can be edited depends on how this file is stored in Daylite.
- If the file is saved as a copy in Daylite, the file cannot be edited.
- However, if the file is stored in Daylite as a reference, the file is visible in Daylite, but not directly in Daylite and can be edited in the appropriate location. For example, a reference can be stored in a file share on a network drive.
In general, files can be stored in Daylite and linked to persons, companies, projects or opportunities via a note.
