Time&Budget does not include an own possibility to generate invoices. However, you can transfer the times and expenses entered in Time&Budget to different billing systems as invoice items.
For the english speaking countries we offer an interface to SevDesk and QuickBooks Online. This is our FinanceConnector plugin.
Time&Budget automatically detects if you have a compatible FinanceConnector for Daylite installed. In this case, an additional button Invoice... appears for external reports, e.g. in projects.
Note: Depending on which system you are using, you may have to make additional settings.
Transfer of the entered items
You have various options and settings for transferring data to the billing system:
- Under Invoice, select the company to which you want to create an invoice in the billing system
- Define the required tax rate
- Check the items to be transferred
- You can select which items you want to transfer now and which items you want to transfer later
Note: If you use Totals, you can enter a subject for the invoice and specify whether you want to transfer the details of your items, e.g. your appointment logs.
Overview of items that have already been transferred
If you have already transferred some items/times/expenses, these are displayed in Time&Budget with a check mark in the Billed column. These items are not transferred again by default the next time you click on the Invoice... button in order to avoid double postings. However, depending on the billing system used, you can manually transfer selected items again. To do this, you must remove the check mark manually by clicking on it and confirm this change.
