In this article, you’ll learn how to use FinanceConnector and Time&Budget to send line items to QuickBooks.
To send billable time blocks to QuickBooks as line items, you’ll need to map the Daylite categories you use as billable time to a QuickBooks Service.
If you have these setup already in your Quickbooks account, you can proceed to step 2.

If you have a lot of different services, these can be imported into QuickBooks by following these directions: Import products and services -
From the Plugins menu, select FinanceConnector > Preferences

Scroll down and in the left column, find the Daylite categories you use for billable time for Time&Budget. From the right column, click on the menu and select the name of the service in QuickBooks you want to map this to. Repeat for all of the categories needed.

Navigate to a project you are tracking billable time for and from the Time&Budget tab, select the External Project Summary and above the activities section on the right, click on the Invoice button.

A sheet will display showing all of the line items that will be sent to QuickBooks. You can deselect items which should not be included in this invoice. If there are multiple people connected to this project, you can select which one should be used for the invoice. Click Send to Quickbooks.
