The performance of DayliteDocs depends on the size of the Daylite database. The bigger the database becomes the more taxing will be the load on your Mac.
A powerful computer will be able to make the data available to you quicker of course.

Working through the user's search requests can take a bit of time on a big database. The more complex the search the more time it consumes working on these parameters. If you search through the contents of thousands of files you will get the search results once your Mac was able to parse all these documents.
