How do I set a phone number or address as primary?

With Daylite you have the possibility to store multiple telephone numbers or addresses for a company or a person. In this case, you can define the default phone number, address, or email address. For example, you can specify which email address Daylite will use to send a letter template.

To specify a phone number or address as primary, please proceed as follows:

Using default feature

1. Open the desired contact or company in Daylite
2. Click on Edit at the bottom left
3. Select the button behind the number or address with the three dots 
4. A click on the arrow icon opens a contextual menu in which you can define the selected phone number or address as primary

Please note: The described function is also available if, for example, a person is linked to several companies. For example, you can define the company where the person is currently working as the default company for the person and keep the link to the person's previous employer. In this case, it is also advisable to assign the roles employee / ex-employee.

Using PluginCenter

1. Open the desired contact or company in Daylite
2. Click on Edit at the bottom left
3. Click the star shaped button behind the number or address
4. A primary number is set if the star icon lights up yellow
