When you add a file to a Daylite object (File > New > Add File), there are several ways to select and add the file or folder.
If you have chosen to add a copy of a file to Daylite, the file will be stored in your Daylite database and made available to other users. Any changes to the folders containing files associated with Daylite objects do not affect the files already stored in Daylite.
However, if you have chosen the option to reference a file and add a file in Daylite, you must not move the file or folder to another location. If you have already moved a file, you need to link it to the Daylite object again.
If you have moved a whole folder of files, iOSXpert support can help you.
The difference between copied and referenced files is explained in this article.
