Daylite Cloud uses labels for phone numbers, addresses and electronic addresses to help you understand the purpose of the data record. Daylite already includes many labels by default like Home, Mobile or Work but you can add new ones or remove old ones in the Daylite preferences.
Adding a new label
- In the menu bar navigate to Daylite -> Preferences
- Click on Labels
- Select the tab that you'd like to add a label to
- Click on + in the bottom left corner of the window and enter the name of the label
The new label will now be available when you add a person or company or edit an existing person or company.
Removing a label
- In the menu bar navigate to Daylite -> Preferences
- Click on Labels
- Select the tab that you'd like to remove a label from
- Select the label that you'd like to remove
- Click on - in the bottom left corner of the window
- Select which label is going to replace the one that you are removing
Please note: Removing labels cannot be undone and can affect multiple people and companies. Be careful when deleting and replacing labels.
