Daylite offers two different approaches for the storing of emails. You can either only download the emails that you need at a given time (on-demand) or you can download all emails of the Daylite database.
These settings are user specific on your Mac. If you use a second Mac, please make sure to adjust these settings there as well if needed.
In the Daylite Preferences please navigate to Email. The following options will be presented to you:
- Optimize storage - emails are only downloaded when you need them. The originals are stored in Daylite Cloud.
- Download All Email Contents - all emails are downloaded from your Daylite Cloud database so that you can also use them when you're offline.
