How do I update contact data within Daylite using the LinkedIn integration?

With the LinkedIn integration, you have the option of synchronising the contact data within Daylite with the person's data in LinkedIn and updating it if necessary.

To do this, go to an existing contact in Daylite and open the LinkedIn widget in Copilot.

• If the contact has already been linked to Daylite, the Daylite icon will be displayed in colour.
• If this is not the case, you can find out how to use the LinkedIn integration in Daylite here.

Now click on the Daylite icon and select Update person

The following overview of the updatable data opens

The data that is available within LinkedIn and Daylite is displayed.

The blue arrow symbol   shows you that there are options to change the data between LinkedIn and Daylite. Click on this  symbol to apply the respective change.

• All data marked with a green tick   matches both LinkedIn and Daylite and will not be updated.
• A contact can have several contact fields, such as telephone numbers or e-mail addresses. The integration therefore offers you the option of adding additional contact fields. The plus symbol shows you the data for which a new field is created in Daylite.
  By clicking on this  symbol, the X symbol appears, which indicates that no new field will be created in Daylite.

Click on Save to transfer the data to Daylite.
