Search web-based with Web&Map or within your Daylite database for contacts, addresses or appointments and see them in the Apple Maps view. Transfer search results as new records into your Daylite database or add found addresses to existing Daylite records.
To use the map functionality, your Daylite data must first be geocoded. For your contacts or appointments in Daylite, longitude and latitude are determined by geocoding to be able to display them in the Apple Map view.
Background Geocoding
To activate automatic geocoding, please proceed as follows:
- Navigate on the top of the Daylite window to Daylite -> Preferences -> iOSXpert PluginCenter
- Click on Web&Map and choose Geocoding within the settings
- Check the box for Launch automatically and select a desired time interval
Your Daylite data is now automatically geocoded in the selected time interval and can be displayed in the map view of Web&Map.
